COLLINS-KILGORE

The following inscriptions were copied in April, 1950 by Mr. Charlie D. Cunningham from whose records they were copied in 1957 by Perry Belle Bennett Hough. The cemetery is at Red Hill, one mile NE of the Old Beaver Creek road from Liberty Hill to Camden and is in Kershaw County. The cemetery is between Beaver and White Oak Creeks.

Lewis Collins, Esq. Died Feb 8, 1815, age 51

Charlotte Collins/His wife/Died Nov 25, 1862/age 98 years, 8 mos, 17 days (Note: Charlotte Collins was daughter Samuel Hammond. See Book D, Kershaw County Wills, dated Feb 9, 1805.)

Wiley Collins/Died May 13, 1816

James Lewis Kilgore/died jan 16, 1850, aged 27 years

Tanizy Burgess/died aug 29, 1835 aged 75 years

E.G. Burgess died 1809....
