Descendants of James Reeves
The parentage of James Reeves/Reaves Sr. of Lancaster Co., South Carolina is still a mystery to the genealogy world. I have recieved information from genealogists who have spent years in the past working on the family and continue their efforts to map out James's descendants and discover his parentage.
The Aaron Dexter Plummer Project
My Plummer family was somewhat a mystery. My ggg granfather was Aaron Dexter Plummer. I was able to find his parents names by looking up his death certificate, and compiled a book about his descendants several years ago. I have contacted many genealogists, gathered census records, etc. on this family.
Descendants of Abraham Lee Martin and Rebecca Byrley Guy
Abraham Lee Martin was born in Indiana, and ran away when he was thirteen with some papers, and his father's sword. The sword was passed down the family from Abraham's great-grandfather Joseph Martin who used it in the Revolutionary War. Years ago, a relative gathered information about the descendants of George Washington Martin, Abraham's son. I have tried to update this information, and also record the descendants of his only sibling, Elmira Ellen Martin.
Crimminger, Love, and Catoe families
Frederick Krimminger came to America in the mid-1700s and fought in the Revolution. His son Frederick Jr. married one of the Love girls from Lancaster County, a daughter of the Revolutionary War Soldier Samuel Love. Another Love daughter married a Mr. Cato, who, as a young boy, was lost or kidnapped and brought to America. Frederick's son Robert Crimminger married the only Cato child to survive childhood, and it is their family which make up the current Crimmingers of Lancaster County, South Carolina.
